Why You Don't Want to Miss Fall Football Games
Posted by Hearing Healthcare Centers on August 30, 2013

Even if you’re not a die-hard NFL fan who tunes in every Sunday, most people have fond memories of attending high school football games on a crisp, fall night and cheering on their home team. Imagine attending those games when sounds are distorted making the game confusing and frustrating.
Part of the reason people attend football games is because the atmosphere is so electric with sounds! The announcers give play-by-plays as spectators chitchat with neighbors and erupt into cheers during great plays. Popcorn is popping and the concession stand is constantly bustling with people buying their favorite candy and soda. Sounds such as ‘thump’ and ‘thwack’ are heard from the field as players charge and tackle each other to the ground. The coaches yell plays and there's the general bumping sounds of football pads and helmets as players come on and off the field.
